Leading electronics manufacturers such as Dixon Technologies, Micromax, and Optiemus Electronics plan to invest ₹1,000 crore each in the new ₹22,919-crore electronics component manufacturing scheme. The program aims to boost local production of high-value components and sub-assemblies, thereby enhancing domestic value addition and creating jobs.
